Allina Health is a not‑for‑profit health system that provides comprehensive care across Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Clinic supports providers in an outpatient clinic setting, delivering timely, quality patient health care services.

• Shift: Day (United States of America)
• Shift Length: 8‑hour shift, 40 hours per week, no weekends
• FTE: 1.0 (80 hours per two‑week pay period)
• Starting bonus: $2,000 available for eligible external talent

• Provide patient care support as delegated by Provider or RN, including administering therapies and medications.
• Schedule follow‑up visits, obtain prior authorizations, and coordinate patient flow.
• Collect, label, and process specimens promptly and accurately.
• Assist physicians during procedures, including medication preparation.
• Conduct rooming, measure vital signs, and record all data in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate communication of medical information and confirm details with patients.
• Assist patients in preparing for physician exams and provide psycho‑emotional support as needed.
• Make outbound calls to notify patients of test results and follow‑up instructions.
• Answer phones cordially, professionally, and with timely service.
• Document all patient encounters and interactions accurately in the medical record.
• Perform any clinical functions within the scope of the LPN license, as ordered by a physician.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked exam room environment.
• Conduct any additional duties as assigned, within scope.

• Associate’s or Vocational degree from a Board of Nursing approved LPN program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Minnesota (or Wisconsin if working with Wisconsin patients remotely).
• Must meet at least one of the following:
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross.
  • Allina in‑house BLS training completed within 30 days of hire.
• Must have the knowledge and ability to work within the physical demands of the role, including light lifting of up to 20lbs occasionally and 10lbs frequently.

• Two years of LPN experience in a clinic setting.

Pay Range: $24.62 to $33.74 per hour, depending on experience, education, and applicable differentials.
