Part-Time School Nurse Position for the School Year
Franklin Public Schools District is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN or BSN).
Primary Responsibilities:Provide basic first aid and nursing care to students and staff, as needed.
Respond to medical emergencies while on campus.
Maintain accurate student health records, including immunization records, and complete required state health reporting.
Develop and manage individual student health plans for conditions such as asthma, diabetes, seizures, and allergies.
Conduct required staff health trainings, including Epi Pen administration, CPR, and blood borne pathogens.
Coordinate student health screenings, including vision and hearing screenings.
Administer, monitor, and maintain accurate records of students' prescription medications.
Work Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m.
Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) or (BSN) license.
Strong organizational, communication, and clinical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, staff, and healthcare providers.
