Description of Work

The Barista will assist in the management of the Dining Tazza coffee shop within the Westbrook Music building.

In this role you will:

Provide excellent customer service to all patrons of the Tazza coffee shop
Accurately create quality beverages and products
Order products and supplies while maintaining appropriate levels of inventory
Greet and provide a friendly atmosphere to guests, students, faculty, and staff
Partner with dining leadership to set prices, create beverage menu, and maintain profit margins
Train and lead student staff

Required Qualifications

High school or equivalent experience
1 year retail food service experience
Ability to read, write, weigh and measure necessary
Ability to communicate essential
Must have the ability to train and lead others
Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test.
