Brand Safway is seeking a Light Duty Equipment Operator to join our team in Hastings, Nebraska. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts, skid steers, and other light-duty equipment in support of site operations. This is a local position; no per diem or relocation assistance is offered.

• Operate light-duty equipment in a safe and productive manner in accordance with company and site safety policies.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Operate a variety of light-duty equipment, including but not limited to:
  • Forklifts
  • Skid steers
• Load, unload, transport, and place materials, dumpsters, barriers, and other job site assets.
• Assist with snow removal, gravel spreading, site grading, and other site support activities.
• Assist with light rigging and material handling operations as directed.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe operations around personnel, structures, and utilities.
• Follow job site plans and directions from supervisors and site management.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

• OSHA 10 certification required.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, skid steers, and other light-duty equipment.
• Knowledge of safe material handling and rigging practices.
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures.
• Must be able to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
