Location:
On‑Site (5 days).
Perform welding operations on sub‑assemblies using wire feed arc welding machines and TIG welding operations.
Education & CertificationsHigh school diploma or GED. Successful completion of the GMAW1 welding course through Central Community College. Forklift certification, if applicable.
Minimum Qualifications- Demonstrate ability to read and understand TK prints for the specific department.
- Successfully complete a welding demonstration.
- Internal bidders must complete the GMAW1 welding course through CCC before being considered for the position, unless they currently possess the necessary welding certifications.
- External hires must initiate the Thermo King Certification process within the first 30 days of hire.
- Meet all MIG welder criteria.
- Possess at least one TIG certification.
Hourly pay of $29.88.
Incentive eligible: No.
Commission eligible: No. Compensation may vary with seniority, merit, location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. The range is generally based on the national average.
