Truck Driver

Job Summary

Ag Processing Inc has an immediate opening in its Hastings, NE location for a Class A CDL Truck Driver. This position will transport grain and bulk commodities in a safe, professional, and economic manner within Nebraska, Kansas, and Colorado, with occasional overnight assignments while most trips are completed within the day.

• Comply with all DOT, OSHA, and Ag Processing Inc. safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Operate truck and trailer transporting products to customer or company locations.
• Load and unload product from truck.
• Provide customer service in a safe and professional manner.
• Maintain safe and courteous driving habits at all times.
• Perform general maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Inspect and clean vehicles to promote a positive company image.
• Maintain accurate driving logs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• At least 3 years of experience with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and appropriate endorsements (combination, tank, HASMAT, airbrakes, etc.).
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Good driving record with two consecutive years of recent CDL truck‑driving experience.
• Pass a physical exam and drug screen.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Understand and follow all safety regulations and conduct work safely at all times.
• Recognize unsafe conditions and report or correct them promptly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with supervisors and coworkers.
• Team player who accepts responsibility for quality of work, punctuality, and attendance.
• Communicate with management regarding unexpected problems and appropriate arrangements.
• General knowledge of truck operations, maintenance, and preventative maintenance schedules.
