The Sales Support Agent supports Express 4x4 Truck Rental. At Express 4x4 Truck Rental, we specialize in flexible, affordable mid- to long-term truck rentals, with a commitment to on-time delivery anywhere in North America. We are currently one of the largest pick-up truck rental providers in the US.

As a Sales Support Agent, Here s What You Will Do

The Sales Support Agent position will work in a team environment assisting our Sales Support Manager, Sales Support Team and Sales Team. This role is primarily responsible for assisting with the on-renting and off-renting sales processes. For the on-rent process, this includes reservation conversion, vetting, registrations, fulfillment, training and responding to customer inquiries and requests. For the off-rent process, this includes all aspects of the truck return process and provide administrative and customer support for each aspect of the rental cycle.

We have a Nationwide footprint serving the entire US from our corporate office. This position is in an office setting and does not interact face to face with customers or vendors. The work environment interacts with customers and vendors via phone and email.

  • Responsible for the administrative cycle of opening rental agreements, the off-rent process and closure of rental agreements, including support of the billing process.
  • Responsible for continuous improvement and development of on-rent and off-renting processes with the current operating system. Directly interacts with IT on corrective measures, problem solving and input on creating more efficient processes
  • Customer interaction and general problem solving on all aspects of the on-renting and off-renting cycles of service
  • Handle incoming customer communication via phone and email, providing answers to customers or redirecting to the appropriate team/individuals.
  • Reconciling available fleet and coordinating movement of vehicles. Interacting with vendors and dealers via phone, as necessary, to locate vehicles.
  • Perform various office administrative duties as needed including but not limited to filing, key reconciliation, project support and updating customer files.
  • Assist in local delivery of rental vehicles, as needed.
  • Support special projects as needed.
Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years college or associate degree preferred
  • 2+ year(s) experience in the rental industry (vehicle/equipment)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Physical Demands & Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, filing cabinets, printers and fax machines. Office environment in Hatboro, PA. Hybrid work schedule, with one day remote and four days onsite. Periodic travel may be required.
