- - Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes and turning centers to manufacture high-precision components according to engineering specifications;
Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, setup sheets, and related process documentation to ensure accurate production;
Load and configure machine programs, select appropriate tooling and work holding, and set tool length and wear offsets for each setup;
Inspect first-article and in-process parts, verifying compliance with tight tolerance and surface finish requirements using precision measuring instruments;
Diagnose and resolve dimensional, tooling, and machine issues independently to maintain product quality and minimize downtime
