Local Class A CDL Driver - Home Daily

$95,000 - $110,000 Per Year

Crescent City Recruitment Group is partnering with a freight company operating with over 40 carriers nationwide to hire a Local Class A CDL Driver for a dedicated grocery delivery account based in North Hatfield, MA.
This is a home daily position with strong earning potential, consistent miles, and steady year-round freight.
Pay & Compensation
- Annual Earnings: $95,000 - $110,000
- Base Pay: $0.52 - $0.56 CPM
- Average Miles: ~1,500 per week
- Daily Rate: $50/day (must work all 5 scheduled days)
- $42 per NYC Borough stop
- $45 per lift gate stop
- $21 per drop & hook
- Detention pay (15-minute increments with on-time arrival)
- Safety training pay - $20/hour
- New hire training pay - $200/day
- Holiday pay - $160/day
- Home Daily
- Start time around 2:30 AM
- 12-14 hour shifts
- Split days off: Sunday + Tuesday
- 6 paid holidays
- PTO accrues from Day 1
- Off during the day on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's (works holiday night)
- 6-day mandatory schedule during peak season
- Occasional layover (hotel provided if needed)
- Dedicated grocery account (fresh & frozen freight)
- Multi-stop deliveries to supermarkets and distribution centers
- Average 15-20 stops per week
- Primarily NYC Boroughs & Long Island (80-90%)
- Also runs NJ, MA, VT, RI, NH, ME, PA, and Upstate NY
- Operating within a 350-mile radius of North Hatfield, MA
- Electric pallet jack deliveries (training provided)
- Slip-seat operation
- Drivers cannot take trucks home
- Automatic day cabs (average 3 years old or newer)
- Reefer trailers (53', 51', 48', 46')
- 100% electric pallet jacks
- Uniforms provided (5 shirts + quarterly allotment)
- Medical, dental & vision (eligible after 30 days)

- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months CDL-A experience
- Must be comfortable delivering into NYC boroughs
