Position SummaryA Roll-Off Driver safely operates a heavy-duty truck and is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large mobile open-top and compactor containers to disposal sites, transfer or recycle facilities, and customer locations. Roll-off drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high-traffic roadways, and may operate in tight overhead environments while on industrial routes. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to successfully perform this job.

- Operates vehicles in accordance with the Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
- Performs pre-and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles and completes required paperwork.
- Notifies the Route Manager or Dispatch of any customer complaints, incidents, on-site service issues, or potential safety hazards.
- Communicates customer requests to the Route Manager or Dispatch.
- Identifies and reports all containers in need of repair or replacement.
- Performs all duties as scheduled by the Route Manager or Dispatch and assists other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
- Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.

- Exceptional driving skills
- Ability to read and write logs, reports, orders, and maps. Etc.
- Commercial Driver's License B (CDL)
- Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with an airbrake endorsement is a plus.
- An applicant must be 21 years of age.
- Acceptable driving record
- Complete Pre-Employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review.
