Warehouse Worker – Hatfield, PA
Auto Store is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Hatfield, PA. The role involves operating warehouse equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of goods.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Move freight and stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, storage areas, and production areas either manually or using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Operate production equipment (e.g., high‑speed cutting saw).
- Stage products based on orders for production.
- Sort cargo during loading or unloading and accurately count inbound/outbound and production orders.
- Stack cargo in specific locations using forklift or pallet jacks.
- Record inventory counts of products in the warehouse.
- Assemble portions of robot orders (e.g., labeling).
- Complete shipments by processing, picking, packing, cutting, and building orders.
- Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Promote a clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Complete reports by entering required information.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment, individually or as part of a team.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Ability to lift and handle weights over 50 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- CSA steel‑toe footwear.
- Ability to follow instructions and be detail oriented.
- Computer literate with basic computer skills.
- Successfully complete a background check and qualify to work in the US.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Time management.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Forklift certification a plus but not required; otherwise, forklift certification within 30 days of job entry date.
- Experience running automated CNC‑type production equipment a plus but not required; training will be provided.
