An Accounts Receivable Clerk generates customer invoices, maintains customer accounts, records, and reconciles payment activity and contributes to a great experience for our customers.

• Manage customer database
• Process weekly customer invoices for materials, services, and delivery
• Evaluate transactions for proper sales and excise tax treatment
• Prepare monthly finance charge accruals and send customer statements
• Compile and record daily bank deposits
• Track delivery transactions to ensure proper coding and billing
• Other administrative & accounting duties, as assigned

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
• Experienced Accounts Receivable professional (at least 3 years)
• Familiar with sales and excise tax
• Positive, ethical and team oriented
• Organized and able to prioritize work effectively
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

• Employee must be able to periodically stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties.
• Ability to lift, on a frequent basis, at least 10 pounds personally and the ability to carry up to 15 pounds personally.
• Work is performed predominantly indoors, although periodic visits to asphalt manufacturing facilities may be required.
• Noise level in the office work environment is typically quiet.
