Pine Belt Ford is looking for an experienced Ford Certified Transmission Technician to join our growing service team! The ideal candidate will be Ford certified, with a strong background in diagnosing and repairing transmissions and related automotive systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform transmission inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and rebuilds in accordance with Ford and dealership standards.
  • Complete work specified on repair orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues.
  • Diagnose and maintain vehicle systems, including transmission, engine, electrical, suspension, and more.
  • Communicate findings and additional service recommendations with Service Advisors.
  • Execute warranty and customer pay repairs per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred (transmission experience strongly desired).
  • Ford Certification required; transmission specialty certification preferred.
  • Previous Ford dealership experience a plus.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and steady hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong customer service skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
