Job Summary
Teach Culinary Arts I & II using hands-on, industry-aligned instruction. Prepare students in food safety, kitchen operations, food preparation, customer service, and workforce readiness. Supervise work-based learning and prepare students for industry certifications.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Relevant occupational experience:
- Associate degree: 2 years (past 10 years)
- Bachelor's degree or higher: 1 year (past 10 years)
- Serv Safe Manager and Instructor Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Pro Start , MUW Culinary mini-courses (48 hours), or other MDE-approved competency
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Culinary Arts exempts Pro Start /mini-course requirement
