Job SummaryThe School of Education at The University of Southern Mississippi invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions in educational research beginning August 2027. These are on-campus positions. The successful candidates will join a collegial faculty community that includes established senior faculty as well as recently appointed colleagues. They will teach and mentor graduate students in an active Ph.D. program in Research, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (RESA), offered on campus and fully online, while providing research-methodology expertise across the School of Education.
They will also contribute to the growth and visibility of the recently redesigned M.S. in Educational Data Analytics, which prepares students to use data, research, evaluation, and analytic methods to inform decision-making across educational, organizational, and community settings. Areas of research interest are open. These positions will be especially appealing to scholars who enjoy graduate mentoring, collaboration, and applying rigorous research and analytic methods to consequential questions in education and related fields.
