This position instructs in areas in the Art and Design program, including but not limited to design, painting, drawing,history, graphic design, sculpture, Art Appreciation.

• Instruction of assigned classes.
• Provide interim and final grades for enrolled students.
• Provide datafor
  
  General Education Curriculum assessment  based onstudent achievement in the course as needed.
• Be available to student through officehours (face to face or virtual).
• Be responsive to students and director/staff via USM email.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

MFA in Art or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Knowledge of the history of art and of the influence of art on culture (for Art Appreciation courses) and/or of studio practices (for studio courses).

Experience in teaching in higher education toteach in online platform.
