POSITION SUMMARYThe Beaker System Analyst provides analytical, technical, and implementation support of our world class Epic EHR with a primary focus on our Beaker application for Hattiesburg Clinic's Lab & Pathology workflows. Beaker System Analysts are responsible for implementing system upgrades, building requested enhancements to the system and any related third-party applications, testing, maintenance, as well as having a working knowledge of Cogito's reporting capabilities, plus assisting with resolution of end-user issues.
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Degree in laboratory science, computer science, mathematics, health informatics, public health, any natural science or related discipline, required
- In lieu of a formal degree, relevant healthcare experience may be considered
- Working knowledge of an EHR and clinical workflows, preferred
- Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
- Composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
- Dependable, punctual, and highly detail-oriented
- Strong multitasking and independent-work capabilities
