POSITION SUMMARY:

The Ambulatory Infusion Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients with urgent, emergent, or potential health concerns. This role applies established nursing principles, practices, and ethical standards while delivering both direct and indirect patient care. In addition, the nurse actively supports the organization and management of the physician’s practice to ensure high-quality, coordinated patient services.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (RN), required
• Current CPR certification, required
• Prior experience in infusion care, preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations/timelines
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies
• Must be timely and dependable
• Must be able to multi-task, work independently and be very detail oriented
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be able to complete documentation accurately
• Must be able to follow existing workflows
