The Student Nurse Tech Program is designed to give nursing students real-world experience early, combining hands‑on patient care with a flexible work schedule that fits your academic journey. This program provides a direct pathway from the classroom to a career in nursing.

As a Student Nurse Tech, you’ll work alongside experienced healthcare professionals, gaining valuable clinical experience in a hospital setting, including:

• Supporting daily living activities
• Taking vital signs and performing blood glucose checks
• Assisting with basic clinical procedures
• Learning how care teams collaborate in a fast‑paced environment

This helps bridge the gap between what you learn in class and what it means to care for patients in real life.

The program is tailored for nursing students who have completed at least their first semester. With PRN scheduling, you can work around your classes, clinicals, and study time, giving you the flexibility you need without sacrificing valuable experience.

Not sure which area of nursing is right for you? The program gives you the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple units and specialties. As you progress, you can even shadow nurses in specialized areas like critical care, women’s services, or emergency medicine, helping you discover where you belong.

From day one, you’ll be supported by a network of mentors, leaders, and clinical staff who are invested in your success, helping you build confidence, strengthen your clinical knowledge, and prepare for the transition from student to professional nurse.

Participants often have early access to RN opportunities within the organization, allowing for a smooth transition from student to licensed nurse.

Many graduates move directly into RN roles after completing the program and passing the NCLEX, often with a shortened onboarding process thanks to the experience they’ve already gained.
