Home Health RN Opportunity
Hiring a Home Health RN to support our client's healthcare facility in Hattiesburg, MS. Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. The RN will manage a variety of clinical needs while educating patients and caregivers, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and supporting patients in safely managing their health conditions at home.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $51.00 - $53.00 per hour
* Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Productivity Expectation: 30 points per week
On-Call Requirement: 1 night per week and 1 weekend every 4th or 5th weekend
Mileage Reimbursement:
Yes, mileage is reimbursed between patient visits
Coverage Area:
Hattiesburg and surrounding service areas
- Provide skilled in-home nursing care to home health patients.
- Perform wound care, IV therapy, tracheostomy care, venipuncture, PEG tube care, ostomy care, and urinary catheter care and changes.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor clinical status.
- Educate patients and caregivers on disease process management, medication management, home safety, and overall health maintenance.
- Communicate patient updates and concerns with the home health office, supervising RN, physicians, and nurse practitioners as appropriate.
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
- Participate in weekly interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress, recertification needs, and discharge planning.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience performing skilled nursing procedures including:
- Wound care
- IV therapy
- Tracheostomy care
- Venipuncture
- PEG tube management
- Ostomy care
- Catheter care and changes
- Strong patient assessment and education skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting.
- Previous home health experience.
- Hospice experience.
- Comfortable providing care independently in patients' homes.
- Strong communication, time management, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Experience educating patients and caregivers on chronic disease management and home safety.
