You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Our agile, reliable, innovative team puts people first and acts with integrity.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business location, interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials, provide directions, and document entries, exits, and incidents as required.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns in alignment with Allied Universal and site requirements.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
