Sr. Accountant

Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing team! This opportunity is well suited for an accounting specialist with strong general accounting experience who can contribute across month-end activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting support. Depending on the team's needs and your background, the role may also involve expense accruals, corporate tax support, or revenue recognition in a fast-paced environment.

This position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, and offers the chance to make an immediate impact while building toward long-term employment.

Responsibilities:

- Manage core general ledger activities, including preparing and posting journal entries with a high degree of accuracy.

- Support the month-end close process by reviewing balances, resolving variances, and helping ensure timely reporting.

- Perform account and bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain supporting documentation.

- Prepare monthly expense accruals and analyze related transactions to ensure proper financial statement treatment.

Requirements

- Strong experience in senior-level accounting with hands-on responsibility for general ledger activity and month-end close.

- Demonstrated ability to prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations accurately and efficiently.

- Experience handling bank reconciliations and researching outstanding items to resolution.

- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reconciliations, and financial support work.
