A well‑established and growing distribution and manufacturing company in Garden City is seeking a hands‑on, detail‑driven Senior Accountant to join its finance team. • Manage core accounting functions including general ledger oversight, month‑end and year‑end close, and account reconciliations.
• Support distribution and manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory and cost‑related transactions.
• Prepare and review financial statements and perform variance analysis to support management decision‑making.
• Handle sales commission accounting, including calculations, reconciliations, and analysis across multiple states (approximately 25–30% of the role).
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to ensure financial data aligns with business activity.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes and analyze actual results versus plan.
• Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Participate in system enhancements and help streamline accounting processes and procedures.
• Take ownership of evolving accounting and reporting needs as the business continues to grow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a distribution or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sales commissions accounting or a strong interest in owning this function.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems; ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast‑paced, and evolving environment.
• Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
• CPA is a plus but not required.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $ per year
