Controller, Accounting, Financial Controller

This is a newly created Controller role with a well-established, growing distribution company that has been in business for over 50 years and supports major national restaurant clients across 1,000+ locations. This is a ground‑floor opportunity reporting directly to the CEO where you will have real visibility, influence, and the ability to build structure and drive change.

• Lead close process and financial reporting
• Analyze margins, inventory, and profitability
• Oversee inventory accounting, cost control, and KPIs
• Partner with operations, purchasing, and leadership
• Manage cash flow, AR/AP, and compliance
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Supervise and develop accounting/finance staff

• 5-10+ years of accounting experience
• Strong inventory and cost accounting background
• Advanced Excel, ERP (SAP or similar), and systems skills
• Hands‑on, operational, and detail‑oriented
