Director of Accounting – CPG / Consumer Goods Hybrid

Anna Parson at Robert Half is partnering with a growing consumer goods / CPG organization on an exciting opportunity for a Director of Accounting with strong technical accounting and SEC reporting expertise. Highly visible leadership role for a CPA who thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment and enjoys owning complex financial reporting and financial analysis in a regulated, growth-oriented company.

As the Director of Accounting you will:

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in full compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Oversee SEC filings, technical accounting research, and implementation of new accounting standards
• Drive accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reporting
• Partner closely with operations and executive leadership to deliver actionable insights
• Manage audit preparation and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Perform in-depth variance analysis and translate results into clear business narratives
• Enhance reporting processes, controls, and documentation as the company scales
• Support strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and systems improvements as needed
