Test Technician II tests and troubleshoots a variety of high voltage power supplies and electronic sub‑assemblies to component level. They are expected to be highly knowledgeable in electronic circuitry and experienced in a variety of testing methods and tools. The Test Technician performs independently and communicates directly with Production Management and Manufacturing Engineering to support a culture of continual improvement.
Education & Experience- Electronics certification (1‑year program) with minimum 3 years of Electronics Test experience.
- Associate of Applied Science degree (2‑year program) in Electronics or an adjacent field with 2 years of Electronics Test experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 1 year of Electronics Test experience.
- "C" school or equivalent military technical training specialized in Electronics.
- Union apprenticeship or similar vocational training with 2 years of Electronics Test experience.
- At least 4 years of practical work experience in Electronics Test.
- Minimum 1‑2 years of testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies; strong understanding of electronic theory and electrical circuitry.
- Read and understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
- Troubleshoot down to component level.
- Work from a written test procedure (ATP).
- Perform soldering tasks.
- Computer literate in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in a High‑Voltage Power Supplies environment is a plus.
- Test and calibrate high voltage power supplies to ensure units meet customer specifications for performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair high voltage power supplies.
- Record functional data during testing phases and analyze results for test validity.
Our good‑faith estimate of the hourly rate range for this role is $25.50 to $34.00. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a highly competitive benefits package.
