Our client is an award-winning engineering services company that specializes in developing innovative products across aerospace, commercial, medical, industrial, and consumer markets. They are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in Hauppauge, NY.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong troubleshooting experience who enjoys hands-on laboratory work and wants exposure to a wide variety of cutting-edge technologies and client projects. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative, family-oriented environment that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct testing, validation, troubleshooting, and debugging of electronic systems and products in a laboratory environment.
- Support commercial and aerospace development programs through hands-on electrical testing and analysis.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, voltmeters, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment to diagnose and resolve issues.
- Create and modify schematics using Cadence or similar schematic capture software.
- Assist Senior Electrical Engineers with product development, testing, and technical investigations.
- Review electrical schematics, component datasheets, and PCB layouts.
- Support prototype development, design verification, and product validation activities.
- Document test results, troubleshooting findings, and engineering recommendations.
- Communicate project status and technical findings with engineering teams and clients as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university (Master's degree preferred).
- 0-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic systems and circuits.
- Experience working with laboratory test equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Voltmeters
- Logic analyzers
- Power analyzers
- Experience with schematic capture software, preferably Cadence.
- Understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools.
- Familiarity with aerospace, military, or high-reliability electronic systems.
- Knowledge of COTS and military-grade electronic components.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, quality, or test engineering activities.
- U.S. Citizenship preferred.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
