Summary
We are currently hiring for a Senior Quality Assurance Review Specialist at our Headquarters in Hauppauge. The Senior Quality Assurance Review Specialist performs file maintenance and new account reviews for pre-determined branch locations to ensure compliance with various regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Sarbanes-Oxley. The frequency and scope of review is determined by the level of potential risk to the bank with Customer Identification Program (CIP) matters and other high-risk items reviewed more frequently than the lower priority items.
SalarySalary commensurate with experience, ranging from $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The exact compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, education, training, licensure and certifications, and location.

Responsibilities- Using various bank systems, perform an independent review of branch file maintenance.
- Perform an independent review of all new accounts opened.
- Ensure file maintenance performed, and new accounts opened in the branches were done properly and completely.
- Ensure all new accounts opened have all required applicable documentation and were opened properly on the system.
- Ensure all file maintenance performed in the branches were either authorized by the customer or approved by branch management.
- Follow up on all missing documentation associated with new account openings as well as assuring that necessary corrections on all errors and omissions are made within the previously determined time period.
- Attend Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager meetings in ongoing efforts to provide enhanced operational support.
- Report branch error rate on a weekly basis.
- Maintain a working rapport with branch staff to assist with error reduction and regulatory compliance.
- Provide mentoring and coaching for existing staff.
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager with ongoing department projects.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports regarding progress of work reviewed, SharePoint tickets issued and past due items. Distribute reports to BSA and Regional Management in absence of Quality Assurance Manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years’ banking platform experience or similar position experience at another banking institution.
