Summary
The Manager Network Infrastructure leads the design, implementation, security, and ongoing management of the network environment. This role ensures that all network systems, hardware, and communication platforms operate reliably, securely, and efficiently to support member services and organizational operations.
Education And/or Experience- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field required
- Minimum five years’ experience designing, building and maintaining technology infrastructure.
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in an infrastructure-related discipline
- Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) preferred
- Experience with Active Directory setup and configuration, as well as a strong foundation in other directory service technologies including GPO, DNS, DHCP and ADFS preferred
- Experience with Office 365 platform and Exchange online, including archiving, retention and spam prevention preferred
- Experience implementing and supporting virtual server infrastructure (VMware or Hyper-V) and virtual desktop infrastructure preferred
- Experience in DLP, web filtering, antivirus and encryption technologies preferred
- Experience in capacity planning, performance monitoring and maintenance planning to ensure a resilient infrastructure preferred
- Knowledge of operation and change management methodologies and familiarity with industry standards (ITIL, NIST, FFIEC) preferred
- Designs and implements advanced network and infrastructure systems that support organizational growth and operational continuity
- Manages troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, providing escalation support to internal teams
- Serves as a subject matter expert for critical platforms including firewalls, routing, virtualization, storage, active directory, and related enterprise systems
- Researches, evaluates, and proposes enhancements to the IT infrastructure to meet business and technology objectives
- Monitor performance and resource utilization across network and systems environments to ensure availability, reliability, and proactive capacity planning
- Maintains detailed infrastructure documentation including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and asset inventories
- Partners with business leaders to understand service gaps and recommend technical solutions that support strategic needs
- Works closely with IT leadership to ensure full adherence to Teachers’ information security standards, regulatory expectations, and audit requirements
- Stays current on emerging technologies, industry developments, vulnerabilities, and evolving infrastructure standards
- Manages vendor relationships, including evaluation of service offerings, contract oversight, escalation coordination, and performance monitoring
- Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor
- Performs all duties inherent in the role of a manager

The good faith range for this position is $120,500 - $150,750. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
