Mulesoft API Developer Security Clearance

Position: Mulesoft API Developer with Security Clearance
Piper Companies is seeking a Mule Soft API Developer to join a leading credit union based in Hauppauge, NY . The Mule Soft API Developer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and managing API integrations using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform to support the client's Teachers API platform. This position will be onsite in Hauppauge, NY! Responsibilities of the Mule Soft API Developer include:
* Design and implement API integrations and enhancements using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform
* Develop scalable, secure APIs aligned with organizational goals and best practices
* Oversee API platform operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
* Collaborate with IT, business units, and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions
* Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements
* Manage vendor relationships and handle escalations related to API services
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and integration strategies Qualifications for the Mule Soft API Developer include:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
* 4+ years of hands-on Mule Soft experience (API management, integration development, deployment)
* Strong knowledge of Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, Monitoring, and Data Weave
* Proficient in REST, SOAP, and web service integration protocols
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD tools
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred

Certifications:

* Mule Soft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule
4)
* Mule Soft Certified Architect - Level 1 or higher
* Additional certifications in API management or cloud computing are a plus Compensation for the Mule Soft API Developer includes:
* Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000
