Low Voltage Technician – Hardware Services Team

• Perform cable installation for Data, Voice, Fiber, and Paging.
• Terminate, label, test, and dress cabling.
• Install data equipment such as racks, patch panels, cable trays, and J‑hooks.
• Build out MDF/IDF closets.
• Rack and stack network devices in network closets.
• Repair and troubleshoot existing cabling system issues.
• Install access control cabling, boards, readers, and REX devices.
• Configure users, groups, schedules, doors, and credentials via access control software.
• Install wireless and electronic locks (a plus).
• Install cable for IP cameras.
• Install and program DVR recording units.
• Configure video analytics such as face detection, people tracking, motion detection, LPR, intrusion, and perimeter protection.

• Project management.
• Industry‑specific manufacturer and BICSI training and/or certifications (a plus).
• Ability to read blueprints and cable schematics.
• Networking knowledge of routers and switches.
• Drive company vehicles and operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, scissor lifts, and test equipment.
