MuleSoft Consultant

Senior consultant (5yrs, lead integrations, strong API design, Anypoint platform)

All work will be done under the sole authority of the Department and its selected designees. Mandatory weekly progress meeting participation with the Department's designated project manager is required.

Proposers must submit a resume for a primary Mule Soft Consultant who meets or exceeds the following technical thresholds:

• Mule Soft Expertise:
  Extensive, hands-on expertise with the Mule Soft Anypoint Platform, including Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager, and expert-level proficiency in Data Weave.
• API Development:
  Proven experience developing, deploying, and supporting REST APIs and specialized Mule applications.
• Architectural Understanding:
  Strong mastery of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
• SaaS Ecosystem Integration:
  Documented experience integrating two or more SaaS systems within an enterprise environment.
• Technical Standards:
  Advanced proficiency with JSON, XML, RAML, OAuth2, TLS, and modern API security standards.
• Analytical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical integration requirements. Strong debugging, performance tuning, and environment configuration skills.

• Target System Familiarity:
  Direct experience designing or building API integrations with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable:
• Workday (HR/Finance)
• Payment Works (Vendor onboarding and payment compliance)
• Tyler Munis (ERP)
• Domain
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience designing integrations or middleware solutions for government or public sector environments. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines.
• Mule Soft Professional
  
  Certifications:
• Mule Soft Certified Developer (MCD – Level 1 or
  2)
• Mule Soft Certified Integration Architect

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills alongside excellent documentation and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently under the Department's authority while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
