We’re looking to hire a hard-working Janitor/Cleaner who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our commercial buildings. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Evening and weekend hours required

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean desks, walls, windows, shampoo carpets, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards
• Clean and tidy all hallways and cafeterias
• Restock all public necessities
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Handle reasonable complaints/requests and inform others when required
• Check stock levels of all supplies
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksites
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
• Ability to work physical work load
• Ability to work independently is a must
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
