Part-Time Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Lead Machine Mechanic to oversee maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment within a dynamic industrial facility. This role involves ensuring optimal machine performance, using our Limble maintenance tracking software, and maintaining safety standards across all operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical expertise, strong leadership qualities, and a passion for continuous improvement to drive efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for all manufacturing machinery, including pneumatics, large mixers, and extruder‑cutters.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (Limble) software to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory levels.
• Train and mentor maintenance team members on safety procedures, technical skills, and best practices in industrial maintenance.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine uptime, reduce downtime, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, schematics updates, and maintenance procedures for audit purposes.

• Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong mechanical background.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrician practices involving low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Experience working with CMMS platforms for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
• Effective leadership skills with the ability to manage a team in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical work, welding operations, HVAC/R systems, and high-voltage equipment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
