CNC Machinist
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Job Type:Full-Time
Pay: $50-$53

What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and manual mills, lathes, hones, and grinders
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and GD&T
- Perform detailed dimensional inspections using micrometers, bore gages, height gages, indicators, and other precision equipment
- Run production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and productivity standards
- Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements
- Create, repair, and maintain tooling, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, and NPI teams
- 5+ years of machining experience
- 3+ years of CNC setup and production experience
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience with manual and CNC machining
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machining problems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- CNC programming experience
- CMM/metrology experience
- CAD/CAM, SPC, or ERP experience
- Technical degree or diploma
- Leadership or training experience
Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
