Electromechanical Repair Technician (Aerospace)
Join a leading Long Island aerospace solutions provider specializing in advanced repair, manufacturing, and custom engineering. Be part of a hands-on team supporting critical aircraft components and high-precision systems.
Key Responsibilities- Test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electromechanical aircraft components per technical data
- Perform assembly, soldering, and re-manufacturing of mechanical and electronic parts
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and procedures to ensure accurate repairs
- Maintain documentation, support team objectives, and uphold a clean, organized workspace
- High school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related technical repair experience
- Proficiency in electrical or circuit board soldering and use of basic hand tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed written procedures
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, computer skills, and English proficiency
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, marine, or electronics repair industries
- Technical degree, trade school training, or A&P certification (a plus)
Salary Range 30 per hour+
