QC Chemist III

Job Summary

Our partner is looking to expand their permanent staff and is in need of a well‑experienced QC Chemist III who is looking to grow in their career. This opportunity is key to the growth of the organization and will allow an individual to expand their own experience and knowledge across a number of product lines.

Location: Hauppauge, New York
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $75,000 - 85,000 per year
Work Hours: 9 to 5
Education: Bachelors

• Conduct routine testing or other analysis in a specific group or department setting.
• Conduct advanced and/or critical testing, as required.
• Operate specialized equipment or conduct specialized skill testing.
• Work with knowledge of raw materials testing and release.
• Work with instruments such as Karl Fisher, HPLC, GC, Particle size, ICP.
• Lead investigation activities.
• Ensure compliance with all data integrity and cGMP practices, procedures, and expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all good documentation practices.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of the Department or Section Head.

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in physical sciences required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience.
• Excellent organization, learning, and teaching skills required to work in teams.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex data sets.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and other scientific‑based software.
• Experience in inhalation products (MDI) is a plus.
