A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Technician to support food safety and quality assurance activities in a fast‑paced production environment. This role will conduct inspections, collect and analyze quality data, and ensure products meet specifications and regulatory standards while working closely with Quality and Production teams.
Compensation & Shift: Salary $52,000 – $62,400 per year.
Shift: Third (11 PM – 7 AM).
Education required:
High School.
- Conduct routine quality inspections on raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods
- Ensure products meet defined specifications, standards, and customer requirements
- Perform measurement, testing, and verification using inspection tools and techniques
- Collect, record, and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Support adherence to food safety and quality systems including HACCP and GMPs
- Assist with documentation, batch records, and quality reporting requirements
- Identify and escalate non‑conforming products or process deviations
- Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Work with Quality and Production teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes
- Conduct visual inspections and support use of inspection and detection systems
- Ensure compliance with ISO‑based quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485 where applicable)
- Maintain accurate records for traceability and audit readiness
- Support sanitation and hygiene verification activities as required
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in product holds, releases, and disposition decisions when needed
