The Suffolk County Department of Health seeks a Chemist II in Hauppauge to perform complex testing and analyses of drinking water, surface water, groundwater, sewage, marine water, hazardous waste, and other substances to protect public health. You will use sophisticated laboratory equipment and may supervise junior staff while developing methods and maintaining quality control.
