The Long Island Fatherhood Initiative (L.I.F.I) program will address the needs of fathers 18 years & older (most low-income, many with history and involvement in the criminal justice system) in both Nassau & Suffolk Counties. The case manager's primary goal is to work with fathers by providing regular contact to facilitate program retention, completion, and access to needed support services with greater focus on economic stability and job-focused services with a clear and unwavering commitment to promoting responsible parenting and healthy marriage/relationship.
SPECIFICRESPONSIBILITIES

Program Coordinator - Supervises: none
- Bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
- Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years-experience in the healthcare/social service field
- Lived experience with the family or criminal court system, whether personal or through a family member, is a plus and highly valued
- Good oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills required.
- Fingerprint clearance.
- Ability to work as a supportive team member, coordinating feedback and knowledge.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable transportation is a MUST
- This position requires traveling to both Nassau & Suffolk Counties for program delivery and will require some evening and weekend hours.
