Warehouse Lead- 2nd shift

Largelogistics, transportation, and e-commerce fulfillment facility is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Leadto support daily operations on the 2nd shift. The Warehouse Lead will help oversee the movement of packages through the facility, ensure shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, and provide direction to warehouse associates in a fast-paced shipping environment.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, parcel, or shipping environment.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with package handling, scanning, sortation, or shipping operations preferred.
• Bi-lingual a plus ( English and Spanish)

- Monday-Friday 4:30pm-1:00am $21-$23 an hour 40 hours a week Hauppauge NY

• Lead and coordinate daily 2nd-shift warehouse activities.
• Direct employees in unloading, sorting, scanning, picking, packing, staging, and loading shipments.
• Monitor package flow to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Assign work and help manage staffing based on daily volume and operational needs.
• Ensure packages are properly labeled, sorted, scanned, and staged for shipment.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, and quality throughout the shift.
• Train and assist employees with proper warehouse and shipping procedures.
• Identify and resolve package, routing, scanning, and workflow issues.
• Communicate shipment priorities, delays, and operational issues to management.
