Assistant Field Service Technician

Location: Havant, UK
Employment type: Permanent (40 hours per week)

Job Description

As part of the Field Services team, you will carry out installation, calibration and maintenance of Detectronic’s Smart Flow and Level monitors in the wastewater network. You may be required to travel throughout the UK as needed.

Qualifications
  • Ability to work safely and effectively on your own or as part of a 2‑ or 3‑person crew, installing and maintaining equipment onsite, diagnosing problems and taking appropriate action with minimal supervision.
  • Resourceful, hands‑on and practical, comfortable working in confined spaces.
  • Full clean UK driving licence held for at least 2 years, as the vehicle you will drive is large.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weathers, and in confined spaces.
  • Respectful when accessing manholes at private homes or business sites.

Our training programme includes Health, Safety and Environment training, CSCS, Confined Space Entry Controller (medium risk), NRSWA (Unit 2: Signing, Lighting and Guarding) and a 3‑day First Aid at Work certificate. Please indicate any of these or other relevant certificates you already hold.
