Job Summary
Red Peak Technical Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst II in Havelock, NC. The role provides government site Technical Publications/Data Management support for the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) H-60 publications team and performs data management functions in accordance with ISO and H-60 procedures for the assigned IETM format. Payrate: $27.63 Hourly.
Responsibilities- Collect, compile, organize, and interpret technical data related to the H-60 program; construct, verify content, and manage the master technical data package for an assigned weapons system and its components, maintaining records to facilitate accurate and expedient publication updates and revisions.
- Research and analyze Technical Manual Source Data Records (TMSDR), Technical Directives (TD), Local Engineering Specifications (LES), Local Process Specifications (LPS), Temporary Engineering Instructions (TEI), Design Change Notices (DCN), and other technical instructions to determine if the master data package requires modification.
- Research, answer, and process Technical Publication Deficiency Reports using existing technical publications, blueprints, schematics, supply and logistics data; consult with engineers, logisticians, Data Management Specialists, or OEM representatives before modifying the technical data package.
- Assist the H-60 program with Technical Manual Conferences, Quality Assurance, In-Process Reviews, verification, and Integrated Logistics Support Team meetings.
- Apply aspects of governing specifications and policy required in manuals, technical manual plans, and technical manual review, validation, and verification plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of general editorial experience requiring proficiency in punctuation, spelling, and English grammar and rules.
- Two (2) years of specialized experience editing military manuals and specifications.
- Experience with computer applications used in automated publishing and information retrieval.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC.
- US citizenship.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with Technical publication, MIL‑STD‑3001, S1000D IETM, and CSDB, particularly to NAVAIR standards.
- H-60 specific experience.
- Military experience using technical publications and IETMs.
- CTPL experience.
- Writing, editing, or quality assurance of technical documentation using MS Excel, MS Word, and PTC Arbortext.
- Strong attention to detail.
