Computer Systems Analyst II
Red Peak Technical Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is hiring a Computer Systems Analyst II to support the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) H-60 publications team in Havelock, NC. The analyst will provide technical publications and data management support, ensuring compliance with ISO and H-60 procedures for the assignment of IETM format.
Position Overview & Responsibilities- Collect, compile, organize, and interpret technical data related to the H-60 program; construct, verify, and manage the master technical data package for the assigned weapons system and its components.
- Maintain master data packages/records to facilitate accurate and expedient publication updates and revisions.
- Research and analyze Technical Manual Source Data Records (TMSDR), Technical Directives (TD), Local Engineering Specifications (LES), Local Process Specifications (LPS), Temporary Engineering Instructions (TEI), Design Change Notices (DCN), and other technical instructions to determine required modifications.
- Research, answer, and process Technical Publication Deficiency Reports using existing technical publications, blueprints, schematics, and supply and logistics data; consult with engineers, logisticians, data‑management specialists, or OEM representatives before modifying the data package.
- Assist the H-60 program with Technical Manual Conferences, Quality Assurance, In-Process Reviews, verification, and Integrated Logistics Support Team meetings.
- Apply governing specifications and policies as required in the manuals, technical manual plan, and in-process review, validation, and verification plans.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year of general editorial experience with proficiency in punctuation, spelling, English grammar, and rules.
- Two (2) years of specialized experience editing military manuals and specifications.
- Experience with computer applications used in automated publishing and information retrieval.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CAC.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Experience with technical publication, MIL-STD-3001, S1000D IETM, and CSDB, particularly NAVAIR standards.
- H-60–specific experience.
- Military experience using technical publications and IETMs.
- CTPL experience.
- Writing, editing, or quality-assurance of technical documentation using MS Excel, MS Word, and PTC Arbortext.
- Strong attention to detail.
Pay rate: $27.63 hourly.
