Job Overview
The F-35 Program Security Associate is an entry-level security professional located at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. This role supports the security efforts for the F‑35 program, managing classified and unclassified material, providing physical security for Special Access Program Facilities, and ensuring the secure development, production, and deployment of systems.
Responsibilities- Control and manage unclassified and classified material across Special Access Program facilities.
- Provide physical security, escort services, and badging control for all F‑35 areas.
- Assist in the planning and execution of program security operations and procedures.
- Support classified meetings and provide security briefings as necessary.
- Manage personnel files, visitor access requests, program access requests, and file reviews.
- Perform additional security duties and support other SAP facilities as required.
- Work First Shift and provide flexibility for other shifts, weekends, and occasional business travel or detachment support.
- Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation closed within 5 years and enrollment in the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) when required.
- Experience working in classified environments and with classified materials.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of F‑35 Program Security requirements.
- Basic awareness of DoD Manual 5205.7, DoD Manual 5200.01 Volumes 1‑3, ICD 705, and related technical specifications.
- Experience with Special Access Programs.
- Experience with GSA containers and document control.
- Ability to interact daily with senior USMC officers and government stakeholders.
- Decisiveness and autonomy in a dynamic military environment.
- Experience in military leadership and decision‑making roles.
- Familiarity with Defense Information Security System (DISS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
- Access control and physical security experience.
This position requires a GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE; candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
