Upper School English Teacher

This full-time, on-site role as an Upper School English Teacher is based in Haverford, PA. The teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering dynamic English lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. Additional responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, engaging in active classroom teaching, and participating in the broader school community through extracurricular activities, committees, and collaboration with colleagues and parents.

• Proficiency in English Teaching and skilled in Teaching methodologies
• Strong ability in Lesson Planning and curriculum development
• Background in Education and experience in classroom management
• Exceptional Communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and colleagues
• Passion for fostering student growth and commitment to the educational mission of the school
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Teaching experience at the upper school level is highly desirable
• Enthusiasm for participating in and contributing to the school community
