Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Orthopedic Upper Extremity Care Advancement Nurse Practitioner to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time, direct-hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about orthopedic medicine, patient education, and delivering exceptional musculoskeletal care in a collaborative physician-led practice.
The selected provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with upper extremity orthopedic conditions while partnering closely with orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and clinical staff to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations for patients with upper extremity musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with orthopedic physicians.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies.
- Perform follow-up evaluations while monitoring patient recovery and treatment effectiveness.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation expectations, and injury prevention.
- Assist with pre-operative and post-operative orthopedic patient management.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, imaging departments, and referring providers.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation while ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives supporting patient satisfaction and clinical excellence.
- Promote exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and evidence-based care.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license with authorization to practice in Pennsylvania.
- National Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Experience practicing within orthopedic, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, or surgical specialties.
- Strong knowledge of upper extremity orthopedic conditions and treatment planning.
- Excellent patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience documenting within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a physician-led multidisciplinary team.
- Must currently reside within reasonable commuting distance of Haverford, Pennsylvania.
- U.S. work authorization required.
- No employment sponsorship available.
- Previous orthopedic surgery practice experience.
- Experience managing upper extremity conditions involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand.
- Experience providing post-operative orthopedic follow-up care.
- Familiarity with orthopedic injections, splinting, casting, and fracture management.
- Experience collaborating with physical and occupational therapy teams.
- Strong patient education and care coordination skills.
- Stable employment history demonstrating progressive orthopedic clinical experience.
Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 annually
