Accounts Payable Specialist

Randstad is partnering with a premier food manufacturing and specialty culinary company based in the Merrimack Valley region. Operating out of a state-of-the-art production facility, our client has spent over 15 years crafting high-quality gourmet foods and is currently experiencing rapid growth. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with strong attention to detail to join their accounting team in the North Andover, MA area.

salary: $27 - $30 per hour

• Full-Cycle AP:
  Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, matching purchase orders, receipts, and invoices while ensuring proper approvals prior to payment.
• Payments & Reconciliation:
  Prepare weekly and ad hoc check runs and ACH payments; review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
• Vendor & System Management:
  Set up and maintain accurate vendor records and W-9 documentation; track purchase orders and assist with ERP optimization and process improvements.
• Month-End & Audits:
  Take ownership of AP month-end close procedures (including accruals and journal entries), audit expense reports in Expensify, and support audit requests.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with operations, purchasing, and vendor partners to support smooth financial operations.

• Education:
  
  Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Solid understanding of bookkeeping and core accounting principles; experience with Net Suite is a plus.
