Position Overview

Cabot Coach Builders is looking for a dependable Automotive Detailer to prepare completed vehicles for customer delivery. In this hands-on role, you will ensure every vehicle leaves our facility clean, polished, and ready to represent the quality of our work.

This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, notices the small details, and enjoys being part of a team that builds custom, one-of-a-kind vehicles.

• Wash, dry, clay, wax, and polish completed vehicles
• Clean and detail interiors, including seats, flooring, windows, trim, and cabinetry
• Vacuum and clean carpets and upholstery as needed
• Remove adhesive residue, fingerprints, dust, and construction debris from completed builds
• Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior accessories

• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, cosmetic defects, scratches, dents, or damaged components
• Report any deficiencies to production supervisors before vehicle release
• Confirm interiors and exteriors meet company quality standards

• Move vehicles safely within the facility and yard
• Maintain detailing equipment, tools, and supplies
• Keep the detailing area clean, safe, and organized
• Assist production with miscellaneous finishing tasks as needed

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience detailing automobiles, trucks, RVs, boats, or commercial vehicles
• Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the day
• Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules

• Previous experience in automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning
• Experience with paint polishing and machine buffing
• Familiarity with commercial vans, emergency vehicles, RVs, or specialty vehicles
• Knowledge of proper cleaning products and detailing techniques

• Full-time position | 40 hours per week
• Work Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
