Position Overview
Cabot Coach Builders is looking for a dependable Automotive Detailer to prepare completed vehicles for customer delivery. In this hands-on role, you will ensure every vehicle leaves our facility clean, polished, and ready to represent the quality of our work.
This position is a great fit for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, notices the small details, and enjoys being part of a team that builds custom, one-of-a-kind vehicles.
What You’ll Do- Wash, dry, clay, wax, and polish completed vehicles
- Clean and detail interiors, including seats, flooring, windows, trim, and cabinetry
- Vacuum and clean carpets and upholstery as needed
- Remove adhesive residue, fingerprints, dust, and construction debris from completed builds
- Clean wheels, tires, wheel wells, and exterior accessories
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness, cosmetic defects, scratches, dents, or damaged components
- Report any deficiencies to production supervisors before vehicle release
- Confirm interiors and exteriors meet company quality standards
- Move vehicles safely within the facility and yard
- Maintain detailing equipment, tools, and supplies
- Keep the detailing area clean, safe, and organized
- Assist production with miscellaneous finishing tasks as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience detailing automobiles, trucks, RVs, boats, or commercial vehicles
- Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the day
- Ability to work independently while meeting production schedules
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning
- Experience with paint polishing and machine buffing
- Familiarity with commercial vans, emergency vehicles, RVs, or specialty vehicles
- Knowledge of proper cleaning products and detailing techniques
- Full-time position | 40 hours per week
- Work Hours:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM - Potential for overtime
