Work Location:
District Salary: $40.00/hr - DESE Certified $30.00/hr - Bachelor's Degree $25.00/hr - Associate's Degree Organizational Relationship or Line of Authority:
Directly responsible to the Executive Director of Student Support Services and/or their designee. Jointly responsible to the appropriate Curriculum Supervisor. Statement of Duties: *
* Special education
* Long-term suspension
* Approved home/hospital form
* The discretion of the Executive Director of Student Support Services
* Coordinate with faculty to provide content instruction and assessment of student work.
* Build a positive rapport with students, teachers, and families to ensure the academic success of HPS students.
* Responsible for instructional and general duties as indicated by the Curriculum Supervisors, directives of the Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Haverhill School Committee.
Qualifications:
*
- Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education preferred.
* Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required.
* Knowledge of school philosophy, organization, and curriculum.
* Understanding of the school student and their needs
* Knowledge of recommended school instructional practices.
* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.
